With his home in Exeter, New Hampshire artist Bill Childs explores the New Hampshire seacoast, its fields, marshes, shores and towns in all of its four seasons. His work is primarily in water color although he has produced art work in both pen and ink and the monotype print process. He has approached his work in landscape and architectural subjects with both careful approaches to detail and description and yet in other instances a more expressive approach to color and composition. His paintings reflect his love of familiar places and others that he continues to discover whether they are the inlets of the New England coast, The Isles of Shoals, or the inland landscape.
Bill has been a member of the New Hampshire Art Association for many years, an exhibiting member of The Seacoast Artist Association Gallery and displays his work at A Pictures Worth a Thousand Words in Exeter.
